The 18-hole “Thunderbird” course at the Thunderbird Country Club facility in Rancho Mirage, California features 6,460 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 71. The course rating is 70.7 and it has a slope rating of 129 on Bermuda grass. Designed by Lawrence M. Hughes, ASGCA/John Dawson/Ted Robinson, ASGCA, the Thunderbird golf course opened in 1952.
