Joe Ciavola Velodrome, Australia’s newest indoor velodrome, was the site of the 2005 Australian Masters and Junior Track Championships and will also stage the 2007 Australian Masters Track Championships in March 2007.

The Joe Ciavola Velodrome at DISC has cheap, accessible training and a range of racing options for all registered ACF Cycling members.

From the City: Find your way to Hoddle St. This can be accessed from travelling East on either Swan St, Wellington Pde or Victoria St. Once you reach Hoddle St, turn left to travel North. Keep travelling until you reach the entrance to the ‘Eastern Freeway’. Take this entrance. Continue along freeway and take the 1st exit – the Chandler Highway exit – and turn left here. This will take you north. Continue along and cross Heidelberg Road. This is now Grange Rd. Continue along Grange Rd until you reach Darebin Rd. Turn Left. Travel along for approximately 200m and you will see the entrance to DISC on the right, immediately after a set of pedestrian traffic lights.

From Melbourne Airport: (Tullamarine Freeway). Exit Airport and head towards the city. Continue along freeway and take the Bell St Exit to head East. Continue along Bell St for approximately 10km until you reach Albert St. Turn Right. Continue along Albert St, which becomes Station St, until you hit Darebin Rd. Turn Left. Travel along for approximately 200m and you will see the entrance to DISC on the left, immediately before a set of pedestrian traffic lights.
